Career mentorship

Your career is not an afterthought here

At most colleges, career support means a noticeboard with job listings and a CV workshop in your final semester. At TGS College, career mentorship is a core academic function. It begins the day you arrive, and it does not end when you graduate.

We call it the Atelier of Professional Crafting. The name is deliberate. Your career is not administered here. It is crafted.

It starts with your Steward

From day one, your personal Steward is thinking about your professional future alongside you. They are not waiting for your final year to ask the important questions. They are asking them in your first term: what are you being called to build, who do you need to meet, and what gaps in your formation do we need to close before you leave?

You will be matched with a Patron-Mentor

For your final-year Opus, TGS connects you with a Patron-Mentor: a distinguished practitioner in your specific field. This is not a cold introduction. It is a carefully facilitated match, made by people who know your work and know the mentor. A Supreme Court advocate, a technology founder, a published architect, a senior economist. Someone who has done what you are moving toward and is willing to invest in your becoming.

Your portfolio is curated, not compiled

The Atelier of Professional Crafting works with you over two full years before graduation, helping you build a professional portfolio that reflects the depth of your TGS formation. Interview craft, industry introductions, and employer partnerships are all part of the process.

Our network knows the TGS specification

The employers and organisations in our global partner network understand what a TGS graduate is. They know the standard. They know the Creed. When you arrive, you do not need to explain yourself from scratch.

And if something goes wrong, we stand behind you.

If your first placement does not work out within the first year through no fault of your own, the Atelier offers a guaranteed re-craft: a structured period of retraining and re-placement at no cost. We do not release a graduate we cannot stand behind.
