Endowment

At TGS College, we believe that the most promising minds in Zimbabwe should not be turned away because of money. The TGS endowment exists to make sure they are not.

This is not a scholarship fund in the conventional sense. It is a permanent, growing pool of resources, built by alumni, foundations, and corporate partners who believe in what TGS College is building and who want the next generation to have access to it.

There are no discounts here. There are Patronages

Financial support at TGS College does not come in the form of a reduced fee. It comes as a named Patronage, a prestigious award granted with honour to students of exceptional promise.

When you receive a Patronage, you are not a discounted student. You are a recognised one. You are introduced not as a scholarship recipient but as, for example, a TGS Founders Fellow or a Tgs Care patron. The full value of your education stands. A benefactor has chosen to invest in you because they believe in your potential.

That distinction matters. It shapes how you carry your education and how the institution stands behind you.

The endowment is built to last

The TGS Patronage Fund is managed by the TGS Care, a legally distinct non-profit entity. It is fully endowed, meaning the fund is designed to sustain itself and grow across generations, not to be depleted year by year.

Contributions come from TGS alumni who remember what it felt like to be given a chance, from foundations aligned with our mission, and from corporate partners who understand that investing in exceptional young Zimbabweans is not charity. It is a long-term national investment.

It is part of how we measure ourselves

The percentage of students supported by named Patronages, and the fully endowed status of the fund, are published in our annual State of the College Report. Access to a TGS education should never depend on circumstances outside a student’s control.
